The meeting starts with a short service and this is followed with a guest speaker on a wide range of subjects. Other outside events are organised during the year.

Hinckley URC is blessed with a music group comprising a choir and an acoustic worship band who both take an active part in leading Sunday Worship. We try to achieve a mix of traditional and contemporary Christian music.
The Organ in Hinckley United Reformed Church was built in 1867 by G M Holdich, for the Union Chapel, Islington. It was brought to Hinckley in 1878 J. Walker & Sons refurbished the instrument in 1961 and in 1998 it was awarded an Historic Organ Certificate by the British Institute of Organ Studies. It is now due for refurbishment again and an Organ Appeal was launched on 4th February 2006. Please link to the URC Organ Appeal web site for full information on this. The full specification for the organ can be found on the NPOR website
We are fortunate in having a building which has been recently renovated and facilities such as a modern kitchen and toilets for the disabled . The Sanctuary has flexible seating and therefore all the chairs can be removed for special events requiring a large floor area. We are able to host a number of activities such as music concerts and coffee mornings, and the rooms are also let to societies and to a dancing school which meets at the rear of the premises. The Vine Christian Bookshop & Café rents a room at the rear of the premises. If you are interested in hiring a room either for a one off event or for a regular meeting then contact Malcolm Hooke on 01455 445840.
